Winner Announcement of Quiz on PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana for Week 1 (1st March – 7th March)
MyGov, the citizens’ engagement platform of the Government of India, announced a Sabka Vikas Ka Mahaquiz on Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana on March 1, 2022. The quiz was held as a part of an outreach effort to build awareness amongst the citizens, strengthening the idea of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayaas” by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India.
The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PM-GKAY) is an initiative under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution that intends to reduce the challenges encountered by the poor as a result of disruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The immediate goal was to ensure that no poor or vulnerable person or household went hungry. The quiz hosted on MyGov under the Sabka Vikas ka MahaQuiz aimed to sensitize people about the same.
The PM-GKAY MahaQuiz saw large participation from the citizens of India in the first week itself. 15,872 people participated in the first week of the quiz. Seven participants scored the highest marks and have been declared winners.
